Windchill Classification Profile Actions
The following profile actions are of particular interest when configuring Windchill Classification access.

Classification Search
|
Show or hide the following:
• Classification field on the Advanced Search page
• Classification Explorer option that appears in the global search drop-down menu
• Classification Explorer link on the Search tab

Find Similar Objects
|
Show or hide the Find Similar Objects action.

Create/Edit Autonaming Rule
|
Allow users to create and edit Autonaming rule from Manage Classification section. The option to create the autonaming rule is available at following locations:
• Edit existing node
• Create new node
• Create New Namespace

Override
|
Allow users to override the generated name that is applied when autonaming rules are enforced. This option is available in the Preview Name section of the create object wizard.

Classify Document
|
Allow users to classify documents on the create and edit document wizards. For more information, see Classifying Objects in Windchill.

Classify Part
|
Allow users to classify parts on the create and edit part wizards. For more information, see Classifying Objects in Windchill.

Manage Global Enumerations
|
Use this profile action when allowing classification administrators access to manage global enumerations.
