Translated Text Preference
The Enable Dictionary Translation Display preference provides the ability to enable or disable translated text for the end user based upon their Windchill Language Configuration. This preference is available as a Site preference in Preference Management under Display. The preference controls the following.
• Ability to set Authoring Language when creating business objects where translatable text is supported
• Display of Authoring Language and translatable text attributes
• Ability to include Authoring Language and translatable text attributes in table views
• Allowing the user’s Windchill Language Configuration to influence results when translatable attributes are used as criteria
