PDM Actions in Autodesk Inventor
PDM (Product Data Management) actions are used to manage your CAD data in Windchill. These actions are available from Autodesk Inventor and from the Windchill user interface.
To connect to the Windchill Workgroup Manager from Autodesk Inventor, you must first do the following:
Register the Autodesk Inventor application with the Windchill Workgroup Manager
Register and connect to the Windchill server
When Autodesk Inventor is connected to Windchill Workgroup Manager, some PDM actions become active in Autodesk Inventor, such as Check In and Check Out.
