Setting up Subjects for a UDI Super Set
The UDI Subject association type is a link between non-revisable and revisable UDI super sets and parts, by default, displaying the Assign Subjects tab when you are creating or editing a UDI super set. You can define specific rules for the different UDI super set subtypes and part subtypes that you create. PTC recommends that you define specific rules for different subtypes of the custom UDI super set subtypes. The Subject Picker window displays only the eligible parts depending on the association rule.
The supported cardinality for non-revisable and revisable UDI subjects is 1:1, 1:many, many:1, or many:many.
|
For a non-revisable UDI submission, the many:many cardinality behaves similar to many:1.
