Windchill 13.0.1.4
Description
Windchill REST Services (WRS) has been integrated with Windchill 13.0.1.4, which is the Critical Patch Set (CPS) release for the active maintenance release of Windchill 13.0.1.0. With this integration, WRS follows the same release version as Windchill and the WRS version is now 13.0.1.4.
The WRS installation process remains unchanged in the new Windchill releases. You must ensure that WRS is available in the PSI staging area while installing Windchill. WRS is bundled with Windchill and is installed and updated with a full or CPS release of Windchill. The output of the windchill version command will now show the WRS version number identical to the Windchill version number.
This change in the WRS versioning affects the delivery mechanism for SPR fixes of WRS.
• Previously: SPR fixes were grouped in a corresponding WRS maintenance release that was included in the CPS releases for all active maintenance releases of Windchill.
• Now: SPR fixes are directly incorporated in the CPS releases for all active maintenance releases of Windchill.
Additionally, this change in the WRS versioning affects the delivery mechanism for the enhancements to the WRS domains.
• Previously: Enhancements to the WRS domains were included in the CPS releases for all active maintenance releases of Windchill.
• Now: Only the enhancements relevant to a specific Windchill release will be included in the CPS releases for the active maintenance releases of Windchill.
