Displaying QuickView States
There are different mechanisms to expand QuickView for dynamic visualization. QuickView states can be viewed by customizing the QuickViewcolumn under Structure as well as the QuickView column with incremental loading.
Customizing QuickView Column under Structure Tab
After the preference is set, you can view the status of the QuickView by customizing the column for QuickView under the Structure tab.
Go to the Structure tab for the respective object (WTPart or Assembly). Under > customize the column for QuickView. Under Structure you can see the QuickView column.
• If the structure is loaded with QuickView thumbnail, then the state of object is marked as Loaded.
• If the structure has a QuickView thumbnail but is not loaded, then the status is marked as Available.
• However, if there is no QuickView thumbnail for the structure, then the status would not contain any value.
QuickView Column with Incremental Loading
With incremental loading, the user gets preference to select what is to be loaded. To set preference for incremental loading go to > . If a node is loaded with QuickView then you can see a display indicator with a special icon 
in the check box indicating the loaded status. You can use this checkbox to load and unload QuickView.
in the check box indicating the loaded status. You can use this checkbox to load and unload QuickView.• When the user loads the structure for the first time, it always loads QuickView thumbnail wherever it exists. Select the checkbox to expand the QuickView.
• If a structure with QuickView exists with a child node with QuickView thumbnail loaded, then expand the structure to the next level. All the details would be seen when you expand the child nodes that have the QuickView thumbnail loaded.
 | • Once the QuickView column is added, refresh the page to update the QuickView states. • Under the Visualization tab an indicator  is displayed when QuickView is loaded for a node. The indicator appears grayed out  when QuickView is expanded to full structure. The indicator icon is not displayed if QuickView is not available for any node or if all nodes having QuickView are filtered out or are not resolved.• Part structure and CAD structure browsers supports the indicator. |
