Modifying the Sourcing Status
You can change the sourcing status for single or multiple manufacturer or vendor parts from the AML/AVL page.
To change the sourcing status of supplier parts:
1. Go to the AML/AVL table.
2. Select one or more parts of the same type for which you want to set the sourcing status using the same value. For a manufacturer part, click 
; for a vendor part, click 
.
; for a vendor part, click .3. Select Preferred, Approved, or Do Not Use.
4. Click OK.
The sourcing status is updated in the AML/AVL table.
