Import Mappings
The Import Mappings tab enables you to avoid conflicts during import by mapping attribute values between the source system and the target system. Only Administrators can create and resolve mappings.
To create a new attribute mapping, perform the following steps:
1. In the Source Attribute Value box, add the attribute value available in the source system.
2. In the Object Type list, select the type of the attribute that you want to map.
3. In the
Target Attribute Value box, click
and enter the search criteria to add the valid attribute value in the target system.
Use the
and
actions to add new or delete existing mappings.
4. Click Save.
Success message appears if the mappings are saved.
| Mappings are applied when you export and import a package for which the Use bundled mapping check box is not selected. If the Use bundled mapping check box selected for an import and it fails due to conflicts, the bundled mappings are not used and the mappings defined on this tab will take precedence when re-importing the package. |
