Updating a Design Context
The New/Update action is used to update a design context after the configuration context is modified. A design context may be updated without user interaction when:
• the design context was created in your workspace and was not checked into the Windchill common space.
—or—
• the design context is in the Windchill common space and has also been checked into your workspace.
—or—
• the design context is checked into the Windchill common space and you are working in a Windchill embedded browser window within a CAD application and your workspace is active.

If none of the above conditions apply, the design context can only be updated by selecting the desired workspace in the Update Design Context window.
