WVS Job Scheduler Filters
The following is a list of different types of job scheduler filters:

• Assembly parts with upstream equivalent links. Parts with self-equivalent links are not considered.

• Work centers and tooling.

Regenerates representations for assembly parts that were updated after generating the representations. Only those representations that were generated by the MPMPublishObjectsNoRepresentation job are regenerated.

• This deletes all publish jobs that were completed, irrespective of success or failure.
• This is used to reset the WVS Job Queues after analyzing failed jobs.

The Delete job older than specifies which jobs to delete. Enter zero (0) to delete jobs older than today’s jobs, and one(1) to delete jobs older than yesterday’s jobs, and so on.

• This regenerates thumbnail images (2D and 3D) for all representations that already have 2D and/or 3D thumbnail images.

|
• This creates the Small Thumbnail Images for all Representations that do not already have thumbnail images.
• Small Thumbnails are required for the Thumbnail Navigation UI

• This method creates the Small Thumbnail Images for the Representations for just the latest iteration of Representable revisions, that do not already have the thumbnail images.
• Small Thumbnails are required for the Thumbnail Navigation UI

RegenerateQuickViewThumbForLatest
|
• This filter regenerates QuickView thumbnail on all representations of latest iterations of all revisions of Representables (EPMDocument and WTPart).
• It regenerates QuickView thumbnail only if representables are non-leaf nodes, honors respective publish rules and if a QuickView thumbnail already exists for the representation.
• It supports QuickView thumbnail generation for positioning and extended positioning assemblies as well. Thumbnail worker needs to be configured prior to scheduling this job.

• This filter generates QuickView thumbnail on all representation of latest iteration of all revisions of Representables (EPMDocuent and WTPart).
• QuickView thumbnail can only be generated for representables that are non-leaf node and honor the respective publish rules.
• Thumbnail is not generated if QuickView thumbnail already exists
• It supports QuickView thumbnail generation for positioning and extended positioning assemblies as well. Thumbnail worker needs to be configured prior to scheduling this job.

• Regenerates QuickView thumbnails for assembly parts that were updated after generating the QuickView thumbnail.
• Only those thumbnails that were generated by the MPMGenerateQuickViewLatestIterationAllRep job or the Generate QuickView action are regenerated.

To publish mini-thumbnail representations, use the AddRepresentationSmallThumbnails and AddLatestRepresentationSmallThumbnails Thumbnail Job options. If mini-thumbnails are not needed, use the Generateand Add 3D Thumbnail Job names.
|
|
|
• For all thumbnail scheduler filters, dedicated thumbnail jobs are created for each eligible representable. These jobs can be viewed from WVS job monitor. The Job Type will be Thumbnail Job.
• In the above list, “latest” means the document iteration most recently checked in to Windchill. So if PublishAllLatestWTDocuments is selected, only the most recent WTDocument iteration are published, and all older iterations are not published.
• The above lists of jobs are those supplied by default in Windchill. You can define your own job parameters. See Introduction to WVS Jobs and Queues for more information.

• This method allows the scheduled execution of a Clash Job for a specified Interference Detection Definition
• Use the Search tool to locate the desired object

1. Specify an existing Interference Detection Definition to process. Click Search to open the Search for Interference Detection Definition window. The Search Results pane opens populated with the available IDDs.
2. Select Use Latest Iteration to use the most recent version of the selected Interference Detection Definition.
