Software Document and Software Configuration Data Document Information Pages
Software documents and software configuration data documents contain files which relate to a software deliverable.
The document information page is a collection point for information related to a document. The information page of a software build object is accessed by clicking Information 
.
.From the information page, you can perform actions on a document, as well as view the object attributes and any related information.
Accessing and Managing Migrated Data
Refer to Accessing and Managing Migrated Data for information on how to access and manage migrated software parts, software documents, documents, issues, variances, change requests, change notices, notes, and problem reports.
Actions
Information pages contain a list of applicable actions in a menu just below the object identification line. See Common Actions for a list of common actions in Windchill. The availability of actions depends on the status of the software build object and your access to it. For more information about status indicators, see Object Status.
Tabs
The tabs listed in the following table are on the software document and software configuration data information page. You can customize the tabs on each object information page to include the information most useful to you. For more information, see Customizing Information Page Tabs.

Tab | Description |

Details | Shows the identifying attributes of a software document or a software configuration data document. See Object Attributes for a list of common attributes in Windchill. Also, see Document Information Page for a list of attributes specific to this tab and common to a software build and a document. |
Structure | Contains tools for displaying and editing the structure of a software document or a software configuration data document. See The Part Structure Tab for a description of the actions and the structure panes on the Structure tab. |
Content | Stores the primary content and other attachments for a software document or a software configuration data document. For more information on the difference between primary content and attachments, see Working with Primary Source Content and Attachment Content. Migrated IBM Rational ClearCase content from a Windchill 9.x software document becomes an updated software document with all the originating software document information as in the originating Windchill 9.x system. Refer to Working with Migrated Software Documents for more information. |
Related Objects | Shows the object and the structure references for a software document or a software configuration data document. If the document is referenced or references any other objects, or if it is part of a structure, the corresponding objects and structures are displayed in this tab. For more information, see About Document References. Migrated IBM Rational ClearCase content from a Windchill 9.x software document can have related objects by adding IBM Rational ClearCase content from the software document information page Related Objects tab. Click Add in the References Document table to add related software documents or software configuration data documents. Refer to Accessing and Managing Migrated Data and Working with Related Software Documents for more information. |
Changes | Shows information on existing change objects related to a software document or a software configuration data document. The following tables may display on the Changes tab: • Associated Defects • Associated Changes |
History | Shows the software document or a software configuration data document historical information, including a graphical timeline and all the previous iterations and revisions. |
Traceability | Shows the traceability of the objects associated with a software document or a software configuration data document in the product development process. The visibility of Traceability tab is controlled by the preference Show Traceability Tab. When set to No, the default, this tab is hidden. |
