Customizing Windchill BOM Attributes for Text Reference Assignment (Creo Elements/Direct Modeling)
You can customize the list of Windchill BOM attributes that are available for text reference assignment in BOM table layout configuration.
In Creo Elements/Direct Modeling, to customize Windchill BOM attributes for text reference assignment, you must edit the following file:
<Modeling Installation Directory>\personality\sd_customize\UWGM\uwgm_customize_2d
The following example shows how to use the LISP function add-BOM-text-reference-type to make the Windchill BOM attribute ‘Structure Level’ available in the text reference selection UI for customizing BOM layouts.

The uwgm_customize_2d file provides a list of predefined BOM layout text references.
