Post-Upgrade Steps in Windchill QMS 12.1.2.16
If you have upgraded from a release before Windchill Quality Management Solutions (QMS) 12.1.2.0 to Windchill QMS 12.1.2.16 and want to enable manual tracking of regulatory submissions, follow the below steps to configure your QMS environment.
To configure the system for manual tracking of regulatory submissions, including workflows, lifecycles, and task templates, perform the following:
1. Reload the license profiles using: loadFiles/LicenseProfiles.xml
2. Configure the Tracking Layout screen type using: loadFiles/type/QMSBaseDefinitionLoader.xml
3. Load the workflow for manual tracking of regulatory submissions using: loadXMLFiles/workflows/RegulatorySubmissionManualTrackingWorkflow_v1.xml

Ensure the workflow template is loaded before the lifecycle template.

4. Set up the lifecycle template for manual tracking using: loadXMLFiles/lifecycles/RegSubmissionManualViaChangeLifecyle_v1.xml
5. Create the task form template for manual tracking using: loadXMLFiles/taskformtemplates/RegulatorySubmissionRevisableManualTracking_v1.xml
