Rules for Opening a Configuration in SolidWorks and from a Workspace
Consider these rules for using Open or Open from Windchill:
• If you select a generic CAD document to open, SOLIDWORKS opens the model with the last saved configuration.
• If you select an instance, and the instance is not in the workspace, then the instance and its generic CAD Document must be added to the workspace.
• Unless the instance CAD document is in the workspace, the system parameters created by Windchill Workgroup Manager may not be up-to-date.
