Introduction to Server-side Watermarking
There are two types of server-side watermarks in Windchill:
• Creo View Client based Watermarks — Overlaid by Creo View on any viewable type when displaying or printing
• Embedded PDF Watermarking — Burnt into a PDF file that is published from Windchill using Adobe Experience Manager
Creo View Client Based Watermarking
These watermarks are text, images, or both that are overlaid on a view when it is displayed or printed. This information can be derived from any of the following sources:
• System attributes such as the current date and time
• Windchill modeled attributes, such as CAD Document or Part Lifecycle State
• User defined attributes such as the material or mass properties
• User defined images (stamps)
