Add CAD Data to Windchill Index Search
You can index notes created on CAD drawings. To do this, you must enable indexing for the MIME type associated with the .drw file extension.
1. Execute the following command in a Windchill shell:
windchill wt.content.DataFormatUtil -list
2. Locate the MIME type associated with the DRW file extension. Note the format name.
3. Execute the following command in a Windchill shell:
windchill wt.content.DataFormatUtil -update
4. Enter the format name of the appropriate MIME type.
5. Complete the prompts. When you reach the following, enter Y:
Is this mime type indexable? (Y/N) (blank to leave as is): Y
