• You can specify the type to search for:

◦ Specify if an object is a manufacturer or vendor part by selecting Part > Supplier Part > Manufacturer Part or Vendor Part from the Find Type window.

◦ Specify if an object is a manufacturer or vendor by selecting Supplier > Manufacturer or Vendor from the Find Type window.

• When searching for manufacturer or vendor parts, you can specify the sourcing context.

• You can add the sourcing status as a criterion from the Criteria list. The system searches for the specified sourcing status values in the selected sourcing context.

• You can add the Source attribute of a part as a criterion from the Criteria list and select a value specific to Windchill Supplier Management: Buy or Buy - Single Source.
