Alternate BOM
The Alternate BOM tab displays a list of alternate BOMs for an object. Alternate BOMs represent an alternative way of manufacturing a part.
The Alternate BOM tab attributes that appear in the table are described below:

Name
|
The name of the alternate BOM.
|

Number
|
The number of the alternate BOM.
|
|
Version
|
The version of the alternate BOM. All branches of the selected part are displayed (View, BOM Type and Alternate Number).

Context Name
|
The context (product or library) with which the alternate BOM is associated. (Windchill PDMLink only)
You can choose a context when you create an alternate BOM.

Opens the New Alternate BOM window where you can create a new alternate BOM for the selected object.

Column Details
|
Opens the Column Details window, which can be used to configure the columns displayed in the table.
