Information Page for Department Data
The information page of a department data object displays details of the object and lets you perform actions on the object. For an overview of information page functionality, see About Information Pages.
Actions
The Actions menu located in the upper left of the page contains a list of applicable actions. See Common Actions for a list of common actions available for the objects in Windchill. The availability of these actions depends on the status of the department data and your access to the data. For more information on status indicators, see Object Status.

Only those users who are a member of the PTC MPMLink Module License, PTC Manufacturing License, or PTC BOM Transformation License profile have access to the following actions:

Check Out and Edit
Undo Checkout
Edit
Edit Common Attributes
Revise
Set State
New > New Promotion Request
All users can access other actions on the menu.
Tabs
The following tabs appear on the information page of department data. You can customize the tabs appearing on the page to display information that is useful to you. For more information, see Customizing Information Page Tabs.
Tab
Description
Details
The Details tab displays the attributes of an object.
For a list of common attributes available in Windchill, see Object Attributes.
For more information on the General tab, see General Information Tables.
Changes
The Changes tab displays change objects related to the selected department data. You can view the Associated Changes table on this tab.
For more information on this table, see Associated Changes Table.
History
The History tab lets you view the entire process of the object through its workflow states. The tab displays the following tables:
