Saving Standard Annotation Drawing Frames to Windchill Libraries (Creo Elements/Direct Modeling)
As a Windchill administrator or library manager, you can save Creo Elements/Direct Modeling standard annotation drawing frames to Windchill libraries allowing users easy access to the frames when creating drawings.
To save standard annotation drawing frames to Windchill libraries:
1. In Windchill, create a library and a folder under it within the library context.
2. Add the users who are going to use these frames to the Member group for this library.
3. Add the users who are going to create or modify the frames to the Library Manager group for this library.
4. In Windchill, set the value of the preference Default Drawing Frame Location to the correct path for your system in Site level.
5. In the Creo Elements/Direct Modeling Annotation module, open each standard frame and do the following:
a. Expand the drawing sheet and right-click on the frame (not the drawing).
b. Select Auto Check In or Custom Check In from the menu.
c. Verify that the frame has been checked in correctly to the folder under your Windchill library according to the path set in a previous step.
