Web Server
This tab collects information necessary to update the LDAP adapter information used by the web server that is configured with the target Windchill installation.
The Windchill Upgrade Manager can only configure your web server if you are using HTTP Server as your Windchill web server. To use this feature, set Automatically Configure Web server Settings to Yes. This will enable other fields allowing the web server information to be entered. The information needed is for the primary administrative (and optionally enterprise) LDAP adapter. When this information is entered, the Upgrade Manager will be able to automatically add the entered authentication providers to the HTTP Server configuration.
If Windchill is not being used with HTTP Server, or manual configuration is desired, select No for Automatically Configure Web server Settings. This disables all of the fields on the web server tab. All LDAP adapter information must then be manually configured in the Windchill web server.
If the source system is Windchill 12.0.0.0 or prior, the figure below indicates the Web Server details to be provided.
The following table describes each option:
Input Option | Default | Description |
---|
Automatically Configure Default LDAP Adapter | Yes | Set this option to Yes to automatically configure Apache Web Server with source LDAP server’s Default node. You must configure this manually, if you select No. |
Automatically Configure Enterprise LDAP Adapter | Yes | Set this option to Yes to automatically configure Apache Web Server with source LDAP server’s Enterprise node. You must configure this manually, if you select No. |
If the source system is later than Windchill 12.0.0.0, following figure indicates the Web Server tab details.
