Setting up Drivers for a Regulatory Submission
The drivers of a Regulatory Submission represent the collection of objects that support the submission. These objects contain relevant attributes or content that is necessary for populating the Regulatory Submission, generating the human-readable Regulatory Submission Report, or generating the Regulatory Submission Payload. The driver object types that support versions are traceable to specific versions of the object.
The Regulatory Submission Driver association type is linked to different regulatory submission types by default. This link determines the availability of the Assign Drivers tab when creating or editing regulatory submissions. Depending on the association rule, you can add the eligible parts, documents, UDI super sets, regulatory decisions, customer experiences, regulatory submissions, or places for the regulatory submission type. PTC recommends that you define specific rules for the different custom regulatory submission subtypes. The supported cardinality is 1:1, 1:many, many:1, or many:many.
