Pasting Documents in Multiple Operations in a Process Plan Browser
You can associate a document with an operation in a process plan. For more information on associating a document with an object, see Associating a Document with an Object.
A document may be referred to in multiple operations. The system allows you to copy a document associated with an operation and paste the same document in multiple operations. Use the Copy action available in the toolbar and the right-mouse menu of the following documents to copy a document:
Described By documents
Reference documents
CAD documents

You can copy documents from the following locations and paste them on the selected operations in the process plan tree structure:

A link exists between an operation and a document. Attributes can be present on this link. The system carries forward link information only when you copy a document from one operation to another operation in Process Plan Browser.
Information page of the document
Search page
Folder browser page

The link information is not carry forwarded when you copy a document from the Information page of the document, Search page or Folder browser page.
You can also paste the most recent document copied on Windchill clipboard.
In the folder browser page, the system does not allow you to select documents of different types for copying, You must select documents of the same type.

You cannot paste different types of documents at the same time. If you want to paste multiple documents, they should be of the same type. For example, you can paste five Reference documents at a time. But you cannot paste a group of Described By documents, Reference documents and CAD documents at once.
