Before you configure NX to read PMI, ensure that you have NX version 1899 or higher installed.

Limitations:
• In the Windchill Model Items tab, the symbols in the note text are not displayed like in NX. NX saves a symbol as a tag.
• In NX, multiline text is converted into a single line. A new line is converted into a space. For example, a URL note in NX has a multiline value. In the Windchill Model Items tab, it is converted into a single line.

Limitations:
• In the Windchill Model Items tab, the upper-dimension, lower dimension, and before and after dimension text are converted into a single line in the dimension text.
• When symbols are used in the dimension text, tagging texts are saved in NX. The UTF code-conversion does not happen.
• Dual dimension and dual tolerances are not supported; only primary one is captured.

• Some special characters for note, dimension, and tolerance text are not supported.
