Client-side Viewables Overview (Creo Elements/Direct Modeling)
Client-side viewable creation is supported for Creo Elements/Direct Modeling assemblies, parts, containers, workplanes, and drawings. It is not supported for workplane sets and frames. You can enable or disable the viewable creation for any file types (except drawings) by running a Lisp command within Creo Elements/Direct Modeling. Viewables are always generated for drawings upon initiating a Save to Workspace or Check In command.
Client-side viewables can be created for both instance and content files for Creo Elements/Direct Modeling elements. The viewables created for Creo Elements/Direct Modeling drawings can be of either DXF, DWG, or PDF format. The default format is DXF and can be changed to DWG or PDF by running a Lisp command in Creo Elements/Direct Modeling.
