Administering ERP Connector Preferences
Administering ERP Connector involves configuring and modifying ERP Connector preferences. These preferences are stored and maintained in the same way as other Windchill PDMLink preferences.

All properties that were listed in the files esi.properties.xconf and erpConnector.properties.xconf have now been replaced with Windchill preferences. These preferences can be found in the ESI category.
Authorized users can configure the way a response is generated by modifying one or more ERP Connector preferences. All ERP Connector preferences can be found in the Preference Management utility.
To open thePreference Management utility, use the following link:
Site > Utilities or Organization > Utilities.

This manual assumes that you are familiar with the Preference Management utility and are using it for tasks that involve configuring and modifying preferences.
For information on using the Preference Management utility, refer to the online help.
ERP Connector preferences fall into the following two general categories:
Preferences that are configurable. These include preferences that are used with the standard ERP Connector product without being modified. Tasks listed in the chapter Administration Tasks involve these preferences.
Properties that are used in the customization of ERP Connector. These include preferences that should only be modified when customizing ERP Connector.
ERP Connector provides a number of customization points that allow the ERP Connector environment to be modified and extended to suite the varying list of different business needs.
