Indexing a Classification Structure
Classification structures must be indexed to support a keyword search. You can index a classification structure when migrating from a prior release. You can also index if there is a problem with the initial indexing of the classification structure.
To index a classification structure, run the following command in a Windchill shell:
windchill com.ptc.windchill.csm.struct.UpdateClassificationStructure -u <user name> -p <password>

• You must enter site administrator credentials before running this command.
• You can run this command on the development environment. To run this command on a production environment, open a service request with PTC. For more information on opening a service request, refer Opening a Service Request.
