Multi-Language Translation Mode
The Multi-Language Translation Mode property enables you to choose how translations are set up for your site. A business administrator can configure this property by navigating to > > and setting the Multi Language Translation Mode to one of the following options:
• Dictionary Translation (default)
• Instance Translation

We recommend setting the Multi-Language Translation Mode property during the Windchill configuration process.
• Switching from dictionary translation to instance translation will migrate the active dictionary translation to instance translation, and all inactive dictionary translations will be deleted. In Windchill Service Information Manager Translation Management, creating a translation package not supported in the instance translation mode.
• Switching from instance translation to dictionary translation will result in the deletion of all instance translations, and no translations will be migrated. To add new translations, you must load dictionary translations. For more information, see Loading Translation Dictionary Entries from XML.
