Associating Configurable Describe Documents to a Part
To associate configurable describe documents to a part, follow these steps:
1. Create a custom xonf file at <customizationRootDirectory> that contains the appropriate new value for the property:
<Property name="com.ptc.arbortext.sis.typename.partToDocumentLink" overridable="true" targetFile="codebase/sis.properties" value="wt.configurablelink.ConfigurableDescribeLink|com.ptc.CustomDescribeLink"/>
2. Organize and deploy the changes using CCD. For more information, see Setting Property Values and Propagating Your Changes.
3. OpenWindchill in your browser and login as the System Administrator.
4. Click > > to view CustomDescribeLink that is added under Configurable Describe Link.
5. Define relationship constraints to add part related configurable documents to Describe Child Objects table in part structure browser. You can add one or more Describe Child Objects to a part.

To apply Configurable Document filter to the part related configurable describe documents during publishing, add the propertyconfigurableDocumentFilterEnabled to wt.properties file and set to true.
