Folders Page (Next Gen UI)
The new Folders page appears when you turn on the New Folders toggle in the upper-right corner of the classic Folders page.
The New Folders toggle is available on the classic Folders page accessed from the navigator through the Products, Libraries, or Projects contexts.
On the new Folders page, the product name and the folder tree are displayed on the left pane, and the contents table is displayed on the right pane.
• If the product name is selected, the product contents are displayed in the table on the right pane.
• The folder tree allows you to browse folders and subfolders. If a folder is selected, the folder contents are displayed in the table on the right pane.
Actions
From the contents table, you can perform actions on objects. To perform the desired action on an object, select the checkbox beside the object in a table row and click the icon in the table toolbar.
The following actions are available from the contents table toolbar.

Refreshes the contents in the table.

 New Part |
Creates a new part in the selected folder.

 New Document |
Creates a new document in the selected folder.

 New change request |
Creates a new change request in the selected folder.

Creates a new review in the selected folder.
|
||
 New Folder |
Creates a new folder within the product or within the selected folder. The new folder created within the product appears as the top item in the contents table in the right pane.
If you select the checkbox next to an existing folder before clicking New Folder, the new folder is created inside the selected folder.

 Check Out |
Checks out the object to you and locks it to prevent modification by other users.
|
||
 Check In |
Checks in the object that you have checked out.
|
||
 Cancel checkout of object |
Reverses the checkout of the object, releasing it for the other users.
|
||
|
New
|
Creates new objects in the selected folder. Select the option from the dropdown list to create one or more of those object types.
