Managing Access Control for Engineering Material Catalog
The Engineering Material Catalog is used to manage engineering materials across product designs. To control access, administrators must configure policies using the Access Control Rules tab under Policy Administration for the domains of existing contexts like Product, Project, Library. Access control configuration to Engineering Material Catalogs is governed by domain-level policies.
To configure policies administrators should follow these steps:
1. Under Policy Administration, select the relevant context domain.
2. Under Access Control Rules tab define permissions for the Engineering Material Catalog object.

Since this is a new object type, existing contexts may not have default access rules configured for Engineering Material Catalogs. Administrators should review and update access policies to ensure appropriate role-based access.
