Auditing Administration
The Auditing Administration utility provides the ability to capture information about events that change primary business objects such as CAD documents or parts. Windchill’s security auditing feature provides a mechanism to enable event-based logging that provides a historical record of who did what that caused changes in the Windchill database. Two types of predefined events are supported: service events and summary events. The security auditing feature also provides a mechanism to retain historical records of security-related events, such as privilege changes, team changes, and denial of access.
