Windchill Visualization Services Administration
Windchill Visualization Services supports publishing specific document types: CAD Documents (EPMDocument), Dynamic Documents (DynamicDocument, typically Arbortext Editor XML), and Windchill Documents (WTDocument, such as PDF, HTML, or Microsoft Office files). The converted, published data is stored as a representation. Representations can be viewed as thumbnail images, which are displayed on part information pages and listings throughout Windchill. Selecting a thumbnail image launches Creo View, a data viewing and visualization tool, in which you can view the files and properties related to the selected thumbnail, as well as create annotations of the data. You can create annotations and measure distances between various elements within the view.
To use Creo View, you must download and install the Creo View desktop from the Software Downloads page. You can learn more about using Creo View with the online help available in the application.
About Windchill Visualization Administration
Windchill Visualization Services integrates Windchill with Creo View, a PTC data visualization tool that allows you to view, annotate, analyze, measure, and animate various types of data. You can also view, annotate, and print the content of documents in Creo View. All information viewed or annotated in Creo View is saved and stored back into the Windchill database.

Using the Windchill Navigator, click the Utilities link from Site, Organizations, Projects, Products, or Libraries to access the available administration tasks. The set of actions available may vary in Windchill+ depending on your role and service-managed restrictions.
