Managing Illustrations from Parent Operations
When performing multiple operations on a workstation, you might want to author the work instruction for all the operations at the same time. By enabling the property com.ptc.windchill.mpmlink.manageCreoIllustrationFromParentOperation, you can create and manage Creo Illustrations for all operations from the parent operation level. The default value set for this property is false.
The .c3di file for an illustration is associated with the parent operation when the property is set to true. If not, it is associated with the selected operation.
Prerequisites
• The com.ptc.windchill.mpmlink.manageCreoIllustrationFromParentOperation property can be enabled only when using Creo Illustrate version 12.1 or later.
• The “client_publish_as_package” preference in Creo Illustrate must be set to true for the com.ptc.windchill.mpmlink.manageCreoIllustrationFromParentOperation property to take effect. You need to add this preference under the “Windchill” category in the user_prefs.xml file located at %APPDATA%\ptc\Illustrate.
If the above prerequisites are not met, the com.ptc.windchill.mpmlink.manageCreoIllustrationFromParentOperation property is ignored.
For Creo Illustrate versions earlier than 12.1, this property must remain set to false.

Users cannot manage multiple illustrations when this property is enabled.
