Qualifications Required for a Developer to Work on Windchill+ Systems
A developer must have the following qualifications to work on Windchill+ systems:
• Basic proficiency with Java development, modular programming, and coding best practices
• Awareness of Windchill+ specific guidelines and supported scope of customization.

• Optional access to an offline Windchill development system.
• Optional access to a source code management system (SCM).
• A basic development environment (IDE). For more information, see Windchill+ System Landscape.
• Access to an Azure BLOB storage account associated with the target Quality Assurance (QA) environment.
• The AzCopy utility from Microsoft. This utility is used to copy data to and from the containers. It is also used for file shares in your Windchill+ associated Azure Storage account.

What does PTC provide?
PTC provides the following entities:
• The Code and Configuration Deployment (CCD) utility for the build and deploy task automation. For more information, see Deploying Code and Configuration Package.
• Access to an integration environment for basic development purposes.
• Access to a QA environment for advance development purposes. The access is available per your entitlement.
• Access to an Azure BLOB storage account for CCD package submission.
• A prescribed set of supported customization practices and patterns. For more information, see Customization.
