Create a Part Subtype
As the organization administrator, you will create a new part subtype.
1. Ensure that you are logged in as the organization administrator by checking the user name displayed at the top-left section of the page.
2. To open the Type and Attribute Management utility, navigate to Organizations, expand your organization, select Utilities, and then under Business Administration, click Type and Attribute Management.
3. In the left pane, expand Manage Types, right-click Part and select New Subtype.
4. In the New Subtype dialog box, specify the following details for the subtype, and then click OK.
◦ Internal Name: com.acme.AcmePartType
◦ Display Name: AcmePart
The new part subtype AcmePart appears.
5. Add the required details for AcmePart and then in the Icon box, change the icon path to netmarkets/imagesTest/acmePart.gif and clear the check box on the right.
The icon on the right of the path is updated. The icon on the top-left part of the page is updated only after you save the updates.

6. Click Save and Done to save your changes.
