Overview of the Integrations Example
This section describes a sample integration within Windchill+ to establish a secure connection with an external endpoint, materialAPI. The part information of the ACME Part, such as the part number, material description, and material price, in Windchill+ is synchronized with the external endpoint. The global status of the inventory is streamed from the external endpoint to Windchill+. This is achieved through a secured MTLS connection.

Purpose of the Integrations Example
• To create an organization named ACMEOrganization.
• To create a user acmeorgadmin and assign it the administrator role in the ACMEOrganization.
• To create a sub-type of Part, named ACMEEngineeredMaterial.
• The part information (part number, material description, and material price) of an instance of ACMEEngineeredMaterial must be synchronized with the external endpoint, materialAPI. The synchronization must be achieved over a secure MTLS connection.
• External endpoint should be able to stream global inventory status information from external endpoint for a particular ACME Part and display it on the Windchill+ UI.
