NX Assembly Support with Windchill 9.1 or Earlier
For NX assemblies checked in using Windchill Workgroup Manager 9.1 (or earlier), the remove annotation to suppress the components in NX will behave as follows:
• If the remove annotation is applied to a single occurrence of an assembly dependent, then the behavior will remain the same as that of data checked in using Windchill Workgroup Manager for NX 10.0 (and later), and the assembly dependent will get suppressed in NX.
• If the remove annotation is applied to only one of a multiple occurrence of an assembly dependent, then Windchill Workgroup Manager for NX 10.0 (and later) will not apply the remove annotation to suppress this occurrence for assembly in NX, and will display the following message in Windchill Workgroup Manager: “Unable to apply the suppress annotation <child-name> to <assembly-name”
