The worker type that a given publish job is sent to is determined by the specific publisher class. For example, the Creo Parametric publisher always sends conversion tasks to workers of type PROE. A new capability allows the use of the particular queue set name to allow specific workers to be dedicated to processing jobs running specific queue sets. This capability allows the enabling of “configurable queues”, and which specific publish queue sets and worker types they apply to. There are two methods of determining whether to use dedicated workers. Either use a property that lists the worker types and queue sets that the property applies to, or by using a custom method. The custom method provides more flexibility than the simple property setting. If the custom method is configured, the property values are not used.
