Viewing Advanced Search Results
The following sections detail the additional features that are available in the search results with Windchill Supplier Management.

The sourcing status column is not displayed by default. To show this column, customize the table view.

OEM Part Search Results Table
If an OEM part has associated supplier parts, the results table for the OEM part search shows the sourcing status for each part. The sourcing status is based on the highest value of all entries listed within the AML. The results table also shows the sourcing context used in the search.

The results table can display the Organization ID column, if configured that way.

By default, manufacturer and vendor parts are included in the search when you search for parts. You can change this setting within user preferences.
Manufacturer Part Search Results Table
The search results table for a manufacturer part can be configured by customizing the view. Typically, the following information is displayed in the table:
• Number—Shows the manufacturer part number.
• Organization ID—If configured, shows an organization ID of each manufacturer part.
• Manufacturer Name—Shows the name of the manufacturer who owns the part.
• State—Shows the part life cycle state.
• Last Updated—Shows the date when the part was last updated.
Vendor Part Search Results Table
The search results table for a vendor part can be configured by customizing the view. Typically, the following information is displayed in the table:
• Number—Shows the vendor part number.
• Organization ID—If configured that way, shows an organization ID of each vendor part.
• Vendor Name—Shows the name of the vendor who owns the part.
• State—Shows the part life cycle state.
• Last Updated—Shows the date when the part was last updated.
Supplier Search Results Table
The search results table for a manufacturer, vendor, or both types has the following columns:
• Name—Shows the manufacturer or vendor name.
• Supplier Type—Indicates whether the supplier is a manufacturer or vendor.
• Last Updated—Shows the date when the supplier was last updated.
• Created—Shows the date when the supplier was created.
