Windchill Integration for MES Features
Windchill Integration for MES includes the following key features:
• Enables Windchill MPMLink users to publish various business and manufacturing objects to distribution targets
• Supports publishing from aWindchill MPMLink instance to one or more distribution targets
• Provides an architectural foundation that can be extended and enhanced for a greater scope of functionality
The out-of-the-box Windchill Integration for MES features allow you to:
• Exchange data in ISA 95 B2MML format.
• Publish objects from within Windchill PDMLink using the following methods:
◦ Sample workflow
◦ Customized workflow
◦ Custom calls to various functions available in Windchill PDMLink.
◦ Ad hoc operations from a menu option in the object information page
This integration allows Windchill MPMLink users to plan their changes by looking at the MES shop orders that are executed on the shopfloor, and planned in the MES system.
