Removing an Equivalent Occurrence Link in BOM Transformer
To remove an equivalent occurrence link:
1. In the Equivalent Occurrences tab, under the Downstream Equivalent Occurrences section select the equivalent occurrence link that you want to remove.

When removing an occurrence link from upstream, select the equivalent occurrence link under the Upstream Equivalent Occurrences section of the Equivalent Occurrences tab.

2. Click Remove Equivalent Occurrence Link. The Confirm dialog box opens.
3. Click Yes to remove the occurrence link. The equivalent occurrence link in upstream is automatically removed and vice-versa.

You have to manually update the downstream equivalent occurrence status after an occurrence link is removed. Click > to manually update the occurrence status. |
To open an equivalent part in downstream, right-click the equivalence link entity and select Open Common Equivalent Part on Downstream Side. The equivalence status and the tree status are also updated on both the sides.
The same process should be followed if you want to open equivalent part in upstream.
When you select an occurrence in the structure pane, the partial and fully consumed occurrence links are displayed in the Equivalent Occurrences tab.
The Display All Equivalence Links preference should be set to Yes to view all the equivalent links.
If this preference is set to No, then only the equivalence links appropriate for the specified context will be displayed.
The Enable Equivalent Occurrences preference should be set to Yes to view all the equivalence occurrences.
