Duplicating an Operation
Operations can be quickly duplicated and pasted from location to location, as a duplicated operation. For example, if an operation needs to be repeated at different times during the manufacturing process. A pasted operation is a duplicate of the originally copied operation and can evolve independently from the original operation.
To duplicate and paste an operation, use the following procedure:
1. From the navigation pane select the process plan that has the operation you want to duplicate.
2. Click the Uses tab.
3. In the Operations table, select the operation you would like to duplicate.
4. Click the copy icon .
5. Click the duplicate and paste icon in the location you would like the operation to be copied to, either under or after the selected operation.
6. Click OK.
