Creating an Equivalent Occurrence Link in BOM Transformer
To create an equivalent occurrence link between an upstream and downstream:
1. Select an equivalent part from an upstream structure pane.
2. Select an equivalent part from a downstream structure pane.
3. Click Create Equivalent Occurrence Link from the middle toolbar. An equivalent occurrence link is created and the graphical representation in Visualization tab is also updated. The equivalent occurrence status is also updated.
The Create Equivalent Occurrence Link icon will be enabled for use in occurrence mode only. This option will be disabled in usage mode, or when more than one part is selected in upstream or downstream structure pane.
An error occurs if you try to create an equivalent occurrence link between the same two parts for which the equivalent occurrence link is already created.
In case of multiple occurrence part, you can create an equivalent occurrence link for an occurrence which already has equivalent occurrence. This is true only when the downstream equivalent part does not have an equivalent occurrence.
