You must follow these security guidelines for any path you take to provide PTC with the code for tailoring the product – whether you are decustomizing (eliminating customization, converting from the old methods to new) or developing new customizations. It is expected that the submitted custom code will provide ONLY the code required to implement Windchill custom features and capabilities. No additional functionality will be expected other than what is required and applicable for the specified customization. As a best practice, write the minimum amount of code required to provide the needed customization change – keep it simple!
