Editing Cells in the Freeze Pane View
You can edit individual cells in the line sheet in the freeze pane view. Navigate into a cell and make changes by typing new values, copying and pasting values from another cell, or clearing values. The system displays the changes when you navigate away from the cell. Changed values will be marked with a modified value indicator, illustrated by a small red triangle in the top left corner of the cell. The cell is highlighted to indicate that you have modified the values. The changes are not saved to the line sheet until you click Save Changes. Click Save Changes to save the changes and remain in edit mode. Click Cancel to return to view mode.

If you click Cancel before saving your changes, a warning appears that you might loose unsaved changes.
Available Attributes for Editing
The following attributes can be edited in individual cells in the line sheet:
Integer
Currency
Float
Text
Text Area
Boolean
Date
URL
Single list
Multi list
User list
Image
Object reference
Object reference list
Multi entry
Composite
The following attribute types are not table editable and cannot be edited inside the line sheet table cells:
Sequence
Cascading
Derived attribute (If all criteria for a derived attribute is in a view, then it is automatically calculated.)
Constant
Discussion
UOM
Care/wash
Color choice
Attributes must be configured in the Type and Attribute Management utility in order to be table editable.
Attributes that are editable appear in the normal display font in the table (black by default). If attributes are not editable, they appear in light gray font.
If there is a constraint on a cell, you cannot exit the cell until you enter the correct value.
When you update an attribute value, the cell is marked with a modified value indicator in the upper left corner until you save the line sheet.
Revert to View
If you have made changes to the view and you want to revert to the original view, click Revert to View. If you are in edit mode, the system warns you that any unsaved changes are lost if you revert to the original view.
Mass Change
You can perform a mass change on editable attributes in classic view and freeze pane view. Use this action to apply a value to all rows in the table.
1. Click Mass Change.
To update values, specify the new value for the column attribute in the New field. Click Fill Column to apply the value to all cells in that column.
To clear all attribute values for a specific attribute, click the clear all icon .
To replace all attribute values for a specific attribute, click the replace all icon .
For multi entry attributes, do the following:
Click the clear all icon to clear all attribute values.
Click the replace all icon to overwrite all records with the selected objects.
For multi list attributes, do the following:
Click the clear all icon to clear all attribute values.
Click the replace all icon to overwrite all records with the selected objects.
Click the remove selected options from all records icon to remove a specific item from all records. For example, if a record contains wool, polyester, and acrylic and you remove the acrylic item, the record updates to wool and polyester.
Click the append selected options to all records icon to add a specific option to all records. For example, if a record contains wool and polyester, and you add the acrylic item, the record updates to wool, polyester, and acrylic.
2. Click Save Changes to save the changes and remain in edit mode. Click Cancel to return to view mode.

Search and Replace
You can search for editable attributes and replace their values in classic view and freeze pane view.
1. Click Search/Replace.
2. Specify values in the Search for and Replace With fields for an attribute, and then click Replace. The system applies the new value to all cells that match the Search for criteria in that column.

Your Search for value must be an exact match.
The search and replace functionality does not currently support wild card searching.
To clear all attribute values for a specific attribute, click the clear all icon .
For multi entry attributes, do the following:
Click the clear all icon to clear all attribute values.
Click the replace all icon to replace all attribute values with the selected values.
For multi list attributes, do the following:
Click the clear all icon to clear all attribute values.
Click the replace all icon to replace all attribute values with the selected values.
Click the remove selected options from all records icon to remove a specific item from all records. For example, if a record contains wool, polyester, and acrylic and you remove the acrylic item, the record updates to wool and polyester.
Click the append selected options to all records icon to add a specific option to all records. For example, if a record contains wool and polyester, and you add the acrylic item, the record updates to wool, polyester, and acrylic.
3. Click Save Changes.
Clearing Values
You can clear multiple values at once. In the Type and Attribute Management utility, attributes must be defined as Table Editable, Editable on Update, and Mass Change (When Applicable). For more information, see Attribute Properties Reference.
To clear all attribute values in a column for a specific attribute in a mass change, select the clear all icon .
To clear all attribute values for a specific Search for value, enter the following values for the Replace With value and click Replace.
Attribute Type

Change the value to no. If the value is yes, click the X to change the value to no.
Composite
Click the X on a tag or press BACKSPACE to clear the value. To clear all values, click the clear all icon .
Date
Highlight the value and press DELETE, or press BACKSPACE to clear the value.
URL
Highlight the value and press DELETE, or press BACKSPACE to clear the value.
Image
Click the clear all icon .
Integer
Type 0 or highlight the existing value and press DELETE.
Multi entry
Click the X on a tag or press BACKSPACE to clear the value. To clear all values, press CTRL+A to select all. Then press DELETE.
Multi list
Click the X on a tag or press BACKSPACE to clear the value. To clear all values, press CTRL+A to select all. Then press DELETE.
Object reference
Click the X on the tag to clear the value.
Object reference list
Click the X on the tag to clear the value.
Single list
Click the X on the tag to clear the value.
Text
Highlight the values and press DELETE, or press BACKSPACE to clear the value.
Text area
Highlight the values and press DELETE, or press BACKSPACE to clear the value.
User list
Click the X on the tag to clear the value.
Currency
Type 0 or highlight the existing value and press DELETE.
Float
Type 0 or highlight the existing value and press DELETE.
Using the Type Ahead Function
Several attributes allow for type-ahead functionality. When you start typing, the system displays available values to select.
For Internet Explorer only, if you enter text into the cell and want to clear the text, click the small x near the text you typed into the cell.
Updating Repeated Values
When you have repeated values in the line sheet (for example, multiple colorways for a single product), the data is highlighted in light green by default. If you change any row for a product level attribute, the system updates all rows for that attribute. The updated rows are marked with a modified value in the upper left corner. Repeated data is highlighted in light green by default.
Updating Attribute Values
You can update editable attribute values in the line sheet cells. The system displays the current value. To change a value click into the cell and edit. Changed values will be marked with a modified value indicator, illustrated by a small red triangle in the top left corner of the cell.
Click Save Changes to save the changes and remain in edit mode. Click Cancel to return to view mode. .

The ability to edit attribute values in the line sheet is configured by an administrator using the Type and Attribute Management utility.
When you enable a filter, the edits apply only to the visible rows in the filter. If you have applied a line sheet filter and a freeze pane filter, the system accounts for both filters when updating attributes.
Editing Date Attributes
Edit date cells by manually typing a value or selecting a date from the calendar icon. The default format is mm/dd/yyyy but your administrator can change the format. To navigate the calendar using hot keys, do the following:
CTRL + left arrow: Go to the previous month.
CTRL + right arrow: Go to the next month.
CTRL + down arrow: Go to the previous year.
CTRL + up arrow: Go to the next year.
Editing Number Attributes
In addition to typing a number, you can change the value by scrolling with the mouse or clicking the up or down arrow on the right side of the cell.
Editing Image Attributes
For cells with image attributes, you can drag and drop image files into the cell, or you can search for and insert a specific image file. You can also remove an existing image.
Hover over the image thumbnail to see a larger version of the image. If you have updated an image, the image file is not updated until you save the line sheet.
Hover over image icon to see the file name for newly uploaded images or the file path for existing images.
Editing List Attributes
To add information for list attributes, use type ahead functionality or select a value from the drop down list. This applies to the following list attribute types:
Single List
User List
Boolean
Object Reference List
To add information for multi list attributes, use type ahead functionality or select one or more values from the drop-down list.
To add all list values for a blank cell, click into the cell and press CTRL + A.
To remove the current values in a cell and replace them with all other list values, click into the cell and press CTRL + A.

For all list attributes, the drop down list only displays non-selected values. For example, if a list contains values A, B, and C, and A is the selected value in the cell, only values B and C gets displayed in the drop down list.
Editing Multi Entry Attributes
To add information for multi entry attributes, type each entry followed by a comma (for example, a, b, c,). The items appear as a comma-separated list in the cell.
Do not add entries that only contain spaces. Entries must contain characters.
Editing Object Reference Attributes
To search for object reference items, use type-ahead functionality or click the search icon to access the reference library.
Object references appear as links when viewing the line sheet and as text when editing the line sheet.
Editing Object Reference List Attributes
To search for object reference list items, use type-ahead functionality or select a value from the list.
For object reference lists, click into the cell to display the list values. Select a value from the list.
Editing Composite Attributes
Enter a percentage, select content values from a list, and click Add for the tag to appear in the content field.
List values must be associated with a percentage value, and the total composite value must be 0 or 100%.
