Prerequisites for Windchill Index Search (SOLR)
This section assumes that the following prerequisites have been met:
• The WIS component is installed and configured according to the Windchill Installation and Configuration Guide. For WIS installation information, see the Windchill Index Search section in that document.
• You have validated the WIS installation as operational.

While configuring WIS, follow the steps from the Deploying the conf_generic_fields.xml and solrconfig.xml Files section before creating the index core.
