Subscribing to Discussions or Topics
The subscription feature in discussions allows users to subscribe to a discussion or topic so that they receive an email notification when new topics are posted.

The subscription feature is different from being added as a participant to a discussion.
To subscribe to discussion activities, use one of the following options:
• Discussion subscription—To subscribe to a discussion, click the subscribe icon on the Discussions table toolbar. A notification is sent when a new topic or a new comment is posted.
• Topic subscription—To subscribe to a topic, click the subscribe icon located to the right of the topic name. A notification is sent when a new comment is created for that topic.
