Single BOM vs. Multiple BOMs
It is possible to have one BOM that represents all variations and contains the necessary overrides. If it is easier to manage, it is also possible to have multiple BOMs, each representing a combination of variations.
In addition to having BOMs represent different variations and their overrides, there are other reasons you may want to create multiple BOMs, such as:
