Updating Linked Specification Components
Updating Linked Specifications
To update linked specifications, do the following:
1. From the Actions menu for the specification, select Update Spec.
2. From the Parent Specification menu, select a parent specification.
3. Click Save.
Updating Individual Components
To update linked specification components from either product, do the following:
1. Navigate to the Update page for the component you want to update.

All Update pages indicate whether the component is linked to other products.
|
2. Make your updates to the component.
3. Click Save & Check In. Your changes are saved, and they are propagated to all linked components on other products.
